We hope you all had a lovely summer holiday and are looking forward to welcoming you back to school. A big welcome to all of the parents as well. We have lots of great experiences and learning to look forward to this year – we can’t wait to see you all again and get started!

Homework

Homework will be set weekly via Ed shed for Spelling and MyMaths for Maths! Your log in reminders will be inside your Reading records. In addition to this, your child has access to Times Tables Rock Stars. As your child will be completing a multiplication tables check towards the end of the year, we recommend using this site a few times a week.

PE

Class 9 PE days- Mondays.

Please come into school, dressed for PE in your school PE kit.

In addition to this, Class 9 will be swimming each Thursday. Children are expected to come into school in their uniform and bring their swimming kits to change into.

Rock Kidz – 21st May 2024

Today our children took part in Rock Kidz resilience, perseverance and dreams workshop for Primary Schools which encourages children to set goals, aspirations and dream big through singing, dancing, key messages and fun challenges.

Our pupils learnt an original song called ‘Nobody Like Me’ which reminded them that they have a completely unique place in the world.

But most of all they just enjoyed rocking! But not as much as the staff it seems….
